How Does GameAccount Ensure Fair Play & Fair Payouts?
GameAccount's player-versus-house games and the Random Number Generator relied upon by GameAccount are all comprehensively tested by independent software testing house Technical Systems Testing in order to ensure the Random Number Generator responsible for numbers in roulette or cards in blackjack or any other random element in our player-versus-house games are fair at all times.

The following Return to Player percentages, being the expected percentage of winnings to turnover (turnover equals amount wagered), apply for each of GameAccount's player-versus-house games as follows:

Deuces Wild 98.0%
Fortune52 97.5%
Hi Lo Solitaire 97.0%
Jacks or Better 99.5%
Mini Hi Lo 97.0%
Mini Slots 92.0%
Multiline Slots 94.0%
Pro Blackjack 99.6%
Roulette Royale 97.3%
Skill Slots 94.7%
Three Card Slots 94.0%

We have no vested interest in the outcomes of tournaments or multiplayer games. GameAccount's mission is to provide a safe, secure and trusted environment for players to compete fairly against each other. Our enthusiastic global online community is a testament to our commitment to fairness.

Fairplay guaranteed In our non-lobby games such as Pyramid Solitaire, Panic Solitaire, Tournament Blackjack and Klondike Solitaire, when you play your cards, you are getting the same starting deck of cards as your opponent. In our lobby games such as Backgammon, Multiplayer Blackjack and Gin Rummy, you receive different cards or dice rolls but there is no advantage given to either player.

  • Level Technical Playing Field. Our games are designed to play on most types of Personal Computer ("PC") and Apple Macintosh. Whether you have a fast PC coupled to broadband Internet access or a slower PC with dial-up Internet access your game experience will be fundamentally the same as your fellow players. Please also review the minimum computer specifications recommended by GameAccount in the "Technical" FAQs.
  • Safe, Secure Financial Systems. We operate secure financial settlement and gaming infrastructure. Our players enjoy an unmatched guarantee of probity: no in-game cheating; no collusion between players and no fraudulent transactions. All financial systems are compliant with the UK's Financial Services Authority ("FSA") similar in scope to the Securities & Exchange Commission in the US. We are 100% focused on making your online gaming experience fast, fair and reliable.
  • Responsive Customer Service. GameAccount's Customer Services Team is on standby from 9am to 5.30pm (GMT) Monday to Friday to answer your queries by email to [email protected] and telephone on 0207 292 6260 (International: +44(0) 207 292 6260). How Do Your Tournaments Work?
We have several different types of tournament available to play, and are continually inventing fresh tournament types to meet our players' demands. You can check the status of all tournaments entered by selecting the "My Tournaments" option in the My Account section.

Single Player Tournaments. These tournaments have a limited number of entries (usually between 2 and 8 players competing for the prize) and you always know how much you can win. When all the players have completed their games the prize is awarded to the person or persons with the best score or time.

  • Progressive Jackpot Tournaments. Each tournament-entry by a player increases the jackpot prize until it is won by a player. GameAccount sets the score or time "objective" to be beaten in order to win the jackpot. We make sure the jackpots are always winnable.
  • Knockout Tournaments. Groups of 4 to 512 players compete in pairs (just like Wimbledon's famous tennis tournament). For example, in an 8-player Knockout Tournament you start by playing the Quarter-Final against just one other player. Winning gets you into the Semi-Final where you play again. Win the Semi-Final to play for the cash prize in the Final. Players need only beat just 3 players (not 7 players) to win, offering a faster way to win than Single Player or Progressive Jackpot Tournaments. For our non-lobby games such as Pyramid Solitaire, Panic Solitaire and Klondike Solitaire you will find your next round to play in the 'My tournaments' heading under the 'My Account' section. Those that are 'ready to play' are listed for example, when you have made it through to the next round. For our lobby games such as Gin Rummy, Multiplayer Blackjack and Backgammon, the green tick button at the bottom left corner of the lobby screen lets you know when your game or next round is ready to start.

Does it Matter What Kind of PC Hardware or Internet Connection I Have?
Whether you're a hardcore or casual gamer, GameAccount endeavours to provide a level playing field of sophisticated and secure online games that are easy to play but hard to master. All GameAccount games account for differing PC hardware setups. Whether you have a monster PC coupled to broadband Internet access or an average desktop PC with dial-up Internet access your gaming experience will be the same as your competitors'. As a bare minimum, however, GameAccount recommends 56k Internet access and we suggest broadband for the best gaming experience.

How do Player Ratings Work?
Rookie, Amateur or Pro? Everyone starts with a Rookie Player Rating for each game. Advancing to Amateur or Pro status depends on your exercise of skill over time. Everyone has a Player Rating for each and every game, although you can only see your own rating levels.

Player Ratings, Explained! Our unique Player Rating system provides an accurate measure of your skill. Only games played for money will affect your Player Rating. Results from games played influence your Player Rating up or down depending on a number of factors including: Whether you've won or lost; how many games you've played; your aggregate wins & losses; and the Player Ratings of your opponents.
