Management Fees

GameAccount will charge You a management fee (the "rake") for competing in wagered games.

The fee for fixed-stake matches on our multiplayer games is 5%-7.5% of the total of both players' stakes, taken from the winner's earnings. The rake for each wager is settled separately. (For example, if You wager £10 each in a two-player game, then the loser loses £10 and the winner receives £9.) Of the £20 staked in this example, GameAccount retains £1 or 5%. For low stake wagers, eg. £1 fixed-point games, we may charge a slightly higher rake percentage. GameAccount charges this fee to cover costs of development, hosting and maintenance and shares any profits with commercial partners (including, but not limited to, customer sites and games software developers). If you win then your account will be credited with the amount of the agreed wager less the GameAccount management fee. If you lose then your account will be debited by the amount of the agreed wager.

In the case of a tie for any wager, the winnings for that bet will be equally divided between those players who are tied. Each wager will be settled independently and a separate management fee will be charged to each wager.

Tournament fees, while generally also around 5-10%, may vary subject to anticipated enrolment, guaranteed prizes, and other factors. Tournament entry fees are deducted from your account upon entry into a Tournament.

For purse play games, where each player brings a variable amount to the table (a "buy-in"), we only charge our management fee, when during that game session money moves from Player A to Player B. The rake % we charge on purse play games will vary by game from 2-5% of the total money risked by both players on each hand or game.

Any Player’s account will be deemed a “Dormant Account” in the event the Player fails to use their account for a single continuous period of 90 days or more for the purposes of a financial transaction such financial transaction to include the purchase of one or more tournament entries; placing one or more wagers in a multiplayer game; depositing funds within the Player’s account; or withdrawing funds from the Player’s account. All Dormant Accounts with funds remaining shall be subject to an inactivity charge of £5.00 (or foreign currency equivalent) for each calendar month following and including the first month in which your account is deemed a Dormant Account.
After your account has been deemed a Dormant Account (as defined above) and has subsequently been dormant for an additional nine (9) calendar months, the Player’s account shall be deemed an “Abandoned Account” and the sum total of cash held in your account will be donated to charity.
In the event that You return to the site in order to carry out any one of the previously stated financial transactions and your account has been previously deemed either a Dormant Account or an Abandoned Account and therefore subject to one or more inactivity charges or donation to charity, please contact Customer Services for a review of your account.

Intra-account Transfers & Associated Fees

In the event that You wish to transfer or receive funds from Your account to the account of another individual player, GameAccount will charge a fee equal to five per cent (5.0%) of the total requested transfer amount subject to an maximum of GBP 10,000.00 (or currency equivalent) for any single transfer or series of transfers over the aggregate period in which You maintain Your account and GameAccount reserves the right to decline Your request to transfer funds between Your account and that of another player’s account at its sole discretion and may require You and/or the intended recipient to provide GameAccount with additional personal identity documentation or proof of residence documentation on request.

Player Ratings

Your per-game Player Ratings are operated and defined at GameAccount's absolute discretion and are subject to change from time to time without notice to You. Information on Player Ratings is clearly displayed on each game-specific web site page.

Refer-a-Friend

1. This Refer-a-Friend Promotion ("the Promotion") is only open to existing registered cash players of the Games on www.gameaccount.com (the "Referrer"). The referred friend must be a new registered cash player of the Games offered by GameAccount ("Referred Friend").
2. To qualify for this Promotion, the Referred Friend must have opened and clicked on the relevant link contained within the referral email sent by GameAccount on behalf of the Referrer. The referral email was sent to the Referred Friend when he/she was invited to join GameAccount by the Referrer.
3. Subject to the terms set out below, GameAccount will credit to the Referrer's account a sum up to a maximum of £25 (or currency equivalent) and £10 to the referred account (up to a maximum of £10 or currency equivalent). The referred account must make a deposit of at least £10 to trigger the Refer a Friend bonus for both players. Such an amount can only be used by the Referrer as entry fees for playing on the GameAccount Website and cannot be withdrawn.
4. A Referrer cannot refer himself/ herself to join GameAccount as a Referred Friend.
5. GameAccount reserves the right to exclude anyone from the Promotion and from the GameAccount Website if it believes that you have tried to benefit from this Promotion by using more than one user name or are otherwise engaging in fraudulent activity. In such instance, you shall not be entitled to participate in the Promotion and GameAccount shall not be obliged to provide reasons to you for such exclusion.
6. There is no limit to the number of friends a user can refer as long as they abide by the rules stated herein and are:
6.1 Valid e-mail address (currently active); and
6.2 They are e-mail addresses of people you actually know. Spamming Will Not Be Tolerated And Will Disqualify Participants.
7. The referrer must have also made a real money deposit of £20 in the last 4 weeks in order to be eligible for the £25 bonus.
8. GameAccount will run this promotion for the period between 1st January 2010 and 1st June 2011.
9. GameAccount reserves the right to vary the terms of, or terminate, the Promotion and/or to withdraw any offers described in these terms at any time and without notice and shall not be held liable for doing so.

Site Promotions - General Terms and Conditions

  1. All participants in any promotion (“Promotion”) must agree to abide by the normal site rules and terms and conditions governing usage of this website and the associated games

  3. Each ‘promotion’ is available only once per customer. The identity of a customer will be determined on the basis of all or any combination of the following: name, mailing address, e-mail address, IP address, credit/charge card number, computer, and any other forms of identification which may be required. Players with multiple accounts will result in all accounts being closed and any winnings being forfeited.

  5. All bonuses are awarded as site credit unless otherwise stated in the specific terms and conditions for the promotion.
  6. All Site Credit will automatically expire once your account has been inactive for a period of greater than 90 days.
  7. If a player receives a free tournament entry, players must give 24 hours notice to customer service with the game and time of the tournament they wish to participate in. Players can use their tournament entry for more than one tournament as long as this doesn’t exceed the total free tournament entry credit.
  8. GameAccount reserves the right to ask any customer to provide sufficient documentation to satisfy GameAccount in its absolute discretion as to the customer's identity prior to us sending any prize or offer.
