Announcing the £25,000 London Blackjack Open
On January 30th 2010, 32 online qualifiers will line up in the Empire Casino, Leicester Square to compete for a first prize of £10,000 and a guaranteed prizepool of £25,000; the Game, Head-to-Head Blackjack!
The only way to earn your seat in this unique and high profile event is to qualify online. We will be running a series of qualifiers that start on Sunday 15th November of which details will be released very shortly in the upcoming weeks.
London Blackjack Open ‘Warm Up’ – 28th November 8pm,
In anticipation of this event, we are running a warm up event that has tonnes of value. The London Blackjack Open ‘Warm Up’ Event takes place on Saturday 28th November at 8pm GMT.
We’ve placed £3,000 in to this minimum guaranteed pot and you can be part of the action from only £2.50.
The ‘Warm Up’ Final!
£3,000 Minimum guaranteed prizepool and 40 round matches that pays the top8! Registration opens at 9pm on 25th October 2009.
Provisional payout
Winner - £1,200
Runner up - £750
Semi-Finalists - £375
Quarter Finalists - £75
Above 150 registrations the prizepool will increase by £20 with each new entry.
How to qualify?
There’s three ways to qualify for this event, there are no fees on any of the tournaments with all money going towards a seat in the final or the £3,000 minimum prizepool.
- Direct Buy-In for £20 before the tournament starts on the 28th November.
- Daily Qualifier @ 9pm. One seat guaranteed each night and a £2.50 buy-in, be quick though as each qualifier is capped at 8 players!
- Sit and Go’s - From 20th November we will be running four player sit and go’s. Each player pays £5 and the winner qualifies for the final.
